What happens at the trial lesson?
Your child will explore the piano in a relaxed, one-to-one setting. They’ll learn a simple pattern or concept, try a few guided activities, and get a feel for how lessons run. The trial is not an audition — it’s a chance for your child to experience our calm, structured approach and for us to understand how they learn best.
Who are lessons for?
Lessons are designed for school-aged students, typically between 6–18 years old. Motivated and focused 5-year-olds are also welcome if they are ready for a structured 60-minute lesson. We teach beginners through to AMEB exam students, and tailor each lesson to the student’s age, personality, and musical goals. No prior experience is required.
How long are the lessons?
All lessons run for 60 minutes. This gives students enough time to learn new concepts, practise with guidance, and leave with a clear plan for the week — without feeling rushed or confused.
How much are lessons?
All lessons are 60 minutes. Beginner lessons are $45 per lesson, and AMEB students are $55 per lesson. Fees are paid at the start of each term, and there are no registration fees or hidden charges. Your child receives a full, uninterrupted hour each week — enough time to learn properly, practise with support, and build genuine skill over time.
Most families find the hour passes quickly once lessons become part of their weekly routine.
